"Continuing to serve, just in a different uniform."
I am a senior business leader with more than 18 years of experience driving enterprise initiatives in federal government.
I manage full contract lifecycles, align procurement strategies with mission goals, and use data driven insights and emerging technologies, including AI, to optimize operations and lead cross functional teams to scalable results.
My decision to join public service was inspired by the same values that guided me during my time in the military: duty, service, and being part of something greater than myself. Serving in uniform taught me the importance of mission focus, teamwork, and impact. I wanted to continue that sense of purpose in my civilian career.
Public service gave me the opportunity to apply my skills in a way that supports national priorities and drives meaningful change. It was a way to continue serving, just in a different uniform.
The highlight of my public service career has been the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated teams to achieve meaningful outcomes. Some of the most rewarding moments came during challenging projects that required long hours, late evenings, and even weekends where everyone brought their full commitment to the mission.
What kept me going was the shared sense of purpose and the unwavering support we had for one another. That kind of teamwork, resilience, and trust is what made the work truly fulfilling.
Public service is about carrying forward the values that define us, whether in military fatigues or business attire, the mission to serve something greater than ourselves remains the same.
